ACT BOLD.
Winter 2026 Recruitment
Please use the following link to apply. We look forward to learning more about you through your application. Please see the below for our recruitment timeline.
What does BHF look for in an applicant?
We look for bright, diligent, and passionate individuals with a demonstrated interest in finance.
Does BHF prefer candidates with business or finance related majors?
Bruin Hedge Fund welcomes any UCLA student with an interest in finance to apply. Non-business related majors are not disadvantaged in any way.
How can I prepare for interviews?
Should you proceed to final round interviews, you will be sent material a few days prior to help with your interview preparation. In the mean time you may begin with Investopedia, Yahoo Finance, and WSJ to learn financial concepts. We do not expect you to know or understand all of the material; however, we do hope to see that you have been proactive and have dedicated some time and effort to learning the concepts.
How many applicants are accepted each recruitment cycle?
We do not have a predetermined number of spots each cycle. However, we do make considerations based on the number of seniors leaving us and the applicant pool size. If we feel that you have been successful throughout the recruitment process, we will not hesitate to extend you an invitation to join Bruin Hedge Fund.
