2024 Case Competition Description

Interested in Investment Baking? Participate in this sell-side M&A advisory case competition hosted by J.P. Morgan and Bruin Hedge Fund. 

​

About the Case Competition: This case will allow you to get hands on experience in sell-side banking through financial modeling, due diligence, and strategic analysis. Teams of up to 4 members will choose from select companies and create a presentation deck that outlines the potential sale of the business. All participants must be UCLA undergraduate students in the class of 2027 or 2028.

Timeline:

• In-Person Info Session: Tuesday, November 5th in Young Hall CS50 from 7:00 - 8:50pm PST 

• Virtual First Round Submission: Week of November 11th (TBD) at 11:59pm PST

• Final Round Presentation (Invitation Only): Week of November 18th (TBD) at the J.P. Morgan LA Office

 

This information session will be going into detail about the case competition, providing insight on sell-side advisory, and hosting a panel with J.P. Morgan's bankers with open networking afterwards.
